FUNDRAISING EVENTS FOR 2013
2013 has arrived and we have many FUN-raising events planned for the year ahead. We rely on your generosity to keep our doors open. Thank you for your kind support to date and going forward.
Depending on the type of event, you can support the Club at these events in a number of ways from coming to the event, volunteering to help out, making a donation and sponsorship. Here are just some of the events planned for the year. Check back regularly for more updates.
MARCH/APRIL 2013
EVENT: CYCLING 4 SURVIVAL
LOCATION: Cork to Clonakilty and back again! starting at the VIADUCT BAR AND RESTAURANT, Bandon Road, Cork REGISTRATION ON THE MORNING BETWEEN 7.30AM AND 8.30AM
DATE: 9am on Saturday 27th April 2013 (Registration Night is at 7pm on Friday 1st March 2013 at the Club)
DETAILS: A big shout out to all you cyclists (or wanna-be cyclists) out there to GET ON YOUR BIKE!!! Whether you are the next Sean Kelly or prefer a more leisurely pace to your peddling we need YOU to help raise money for a wheely good cause. The charity cycle route on the day will be from Cork City-Kinsale-Clonakilty-Bandon-Inishannon-Cork City. Cycle all or a section - whatever you prefer - and raise as much money as you can before the event. Pre-registration required. Contact our drop-in Centre at 021 4949090 or come along on the Launch Night on the 1st March at the Club and register then! All funds raised go directly to the Club.
